Ministries
Hunger Program
The St. Jude Hunger Program is one of the first ministries established during the inception of St. Jude Parish. The committee consists of volunteers with 100% of the donations given to the poor. Our mission is to serve as a bridge between the parishioners of St. Jude Catholic Church and those in need. Money and food are collected and distributed to various projects to help sustain life and to assist in the building of mind and body so as to promote self-sufficiency wherever possible.
The Hunger Program has semi-annual food drives to support the local projects and each project receives a quarterly check to support their food ministry. Donations are made through periodic Sunday 2nd collections, donations from memorials, regular supporters of the Hunger Program and the annual Oktoberfest.
