The parishioners and friends of St. Jude Parish have always provided generous support for our church and school. Parishioners at St. Jude are challenged to serve their church and broader society and they have cheerfully accepted this challenge. Their enthusiastic philanthropic support has made a difference in thousands of lives and that support must be sustained if we are to carry out the vision as outlined in our parish mission statement. Our development team is not desk-bound and visits personally with parishioners, friends, and corporate sponsors to invite prayer and financial support and to listen to their counsel.

They also assist donors who are interested in establishing memorials for loved ones and the funding of scholarships at our school, as well as professional legal advice and consultation on other bequests, such as wills. The office encourages volunteer involvement from parishioners, school alumni, and community friends in conjunction with annual appeals, planned giving, and miscellaneous campaign efforts. Professional assistance and guidance in any of the areas mentioned is always welcome, as are office volunteers.
Ways to Give
Matching Gifts - Many Companies will match your gift to St. Jude. Please contact the Human Resources Department at your company, and simply complete and return the matching gift form with your contribution.
Gifts of Life Insurance - If you own a life insurance policy and no longer need its protection, you may transfer the policy’s ownership to St. Jude Church & School. The gift will generate a charitable income tax deduction approximately equal to the cash surrender value of the policy on the date of the gift. If you prefer, you can designate St. Jude as a partial or full beneficiary of the life insurance policy.
Gifts of Securities - If you own a life insurance policy and no longer need its protection, you may transfer the policy’s ownership to St. Jude Church & School. The gift will generate a charitable income tax deduction approximately equal to the cash surrender value of the policy on the date of the gift. If you prefer, you can designate St. Jude as a partial or full beneficiary of the life insurance policy.
Memorial and Honorary Gifts - Making a gift in someone else’s name still allows you to take the appropriate tax deduction. Gifts may be made in memory of a deceased friend or family member. All honorary and memorial gifts will be recognized by St. Jude Parish and may come with naming opportunities on campus.
Bequests and Planned Gifts - Naming St. Jude Catholic Church & School as a beneficiary in your Will helps to ensure our Church and Schools future. You may elect to make an outright gift of funds specified at either a designated dollar amount or as a percentage of your estate. Other Planned Giving vehicles are available to fit your situation and goal as a donor to St. Jude Parish.
Planned Giving
The St. Jude Legacy Society - The St. Jude Legacy Society has been created to honor and thank the parishioners, benefactors and friends that want to ensure the future of the parish, as well as the programs and ministries we all enjoy, by naming St. Jude Catholic as a beneficiary in their Will/Estate or Planned Gift.
